観察結果の詳細
Largish chunky flycatcher foraging above the trail next to the main drip around 0830. Silent. Brown upperparts with contrasting whitish edges to much of the feathers. Brownish streaked crown. Rufous wings and tail, with the rufescent coloration of the tail being particularly saturated. Light citrus underparts with relatively fine streaking across the breast with limited streaming extending into the upper flanks. Streaks somewhat diffuse. Dusky face with prominent whitish Supercilium and moustachial/submoustachial. Dusky malar fairly diffuse. Heavy longish bill with bright pink/flesh colored base to the lower mandible. Dark bill tip. Largish head with a flat crown. Size and structure (heavy bill, large size, flat crown) highly suggestive of Sulphur-bellied rather than similar Piratic/Variegated. As is coloration. Can't speak to eliminating Streaked Flycatcher, though vocalizations recorded by other observers diagnostic for Sulphur-bellied I believe. Continuing since at least October 7th at this location.
