観察結果の詳細

I first heard this bird softy taping and flaking off bark. The trees in the area had been heavily worked with large mounds of bark lying around many of the trees. We watched this bird for almost half an hour, and I was able to get several excellent photos. This individual was paler backed than some that I have seen in MN (but still nowhere near as white-backed as the Rockies birds).
