BNA: I am not sure this is an unusual variant of the loud "kra-a-a" described in BNA account as the Squawk of this species, or instead, an example of a "Reedy Cry" by Porphyrula martinica. There is a "tut-tut-tut" call by Ixobrychus exilis at 1:18-1:20.
