観察結果の詳細
I first spotted this bird amongst the dowitchers with Greg Wagner. It was very bright and stood out amongst the pecs. Unfortunately it was facing the wrong way and we couldn’t get much else other than it looked brighter with a well defined cap. We later got a quick glimpse of the buff coloured breast albeit briefly. Some of the dowitchers took flight and the suspect bird followed, thankfully they returned providing us clear scope views. I managed to get one quick digiscoped photo before the bird disappeared. It showed up again approximately 90 minutes later and was seen by many birders who had made the trip. The identifying features were the bright rufous cap and bold white eye line and the very smooth buff coloured breast. The bill shape was also slightly different than Pectoral, with a thicker base and slightly more curvature. It appeared slightly smaller and had a different posture than the the Pectorals that it was with and was noticeably brighter. Will upload photos.
