Continuing male and female. First seen near here: (31.7847267, -109.2919402) they then started traveling fast down canyon calling and foraging as they went. They went past the campground and along the east side of what used to be Rucker lake. We could hear them calling far off and some of us walked down the road. I ran down the road and got below the quetzals by a couple hundred yards. I then sat down at the base of a tree just below where the canyon bottlenecks at the old dam. The quetzals worked their way down to me and foraged above me for a couple minutes, catching a couple praying mantises and calling to one another. After they past me, they crossed the road and went over the hill here: (31.7788394, -109.3117218). I heard them calling for a couple minutes and then the went silent. They were relocated a couple hours later on Rucker trail #222 just past the two logs up the hill and to the right at their favored afternoon spot.
