Feeding on the figs with the GIPs. 3 with red colouring on their casque and 2 with grey casques. Observed a red-casqued hornbill pick a berry and kept it at the tip of the bill. Grey-casqued suddenly arrived then they just hung out. After a while they transferred to another tree and stayed. After another 5 minutes, red-casqued PH gives the berry to the grey-casqued one. Then, another red-casqued PH appears with the same berry and feeds 4 consecutively. The 3 hang out for some time, red-casqued individuals scratching their bills on the branch. The grey-casqued one did not seem to be a young PH so I'm wondering if this is part of the mating ritual. This was done near the tree with the previous PH nest. Also wondering if casque colouring has anything to do with sex.
