The first of three audio clips of the first Sedge Wren. Background species all quite soft, except for calls of Red-winged Blackbird.

**Rare and local migrant / breeder. First detected a single bird that called once. Then this bird started singing with great vigor, perching up in open for minutes at a time. I needed to get back for a meeting, and as I returned along the edge of the south field I found another singing bird. As I was recording the second, a presumed female came in calling below the singing bird and the two disappeared together into the grasses. At one point, the first bird also did a brief aerial display.
