I wrestled a bit with the ID of this immature accipiter, but wound up going with Cooper's instead of Sharpie. Overall, when perched, the head seems fairly proportionally sized to the body, it has that somewhat "mean" look versus "surprised" look of a Sharpie, also the tarsi ("shins") and toes seem quite robust. In flight, the tail appears quite long and the head projection is well beyond the wings. Hence, though a few field marks suggest immature Sharpie (e.g. breast streaking quite thick and not tapering off towards the belly, tail tip seemed more squarish in the field, though photos do show slight rounding of a Cooper’s), in aggregate, it seems most field marks point to Cooper's rather than Sharpie for this bird, overall structure wins out in this case.
