Brown hood, blended on throat to paler cream belly, with a face that didn't seem to have any extra dark, just brown on top of head and back contrasting with black wings, white belly and lower vent with no scaling, little bit of blue at base of bill and perhaps brown right around bill was blacker. Mostly cloudy, breezy, 88°F. Dense scrub 2-8 m tall, some native short trees and tall bushes mixed in with predominately Lantana.
