A Shelley's Francolin in lurking in the grass . Shelley’s Francolin (Scleroptila shelleyi) is very rarely seen, and is restricted to the eastern side of sub-Saharan Africa. Shelley’s Francolin is very uncommon in Kruger Park – this bird was lurking in grass near a tributary of the Olifants River near Olifants Restcamp in Kruger Park. Elevation: 287 m. Date added to IBC: June 20, 2018.
