Rufous Hornero searching for prey. Horneros build large oven-sized nests of mud. This bird was hunting along a stone wall, probing each crevice for prey. Elevation: 209 m. Date added to IBC: January 12, 2018.

IBC scientific name: Furnarius rufus rufus. Pair hunting for insects to feed their chicks in the mud nest on a ledge on the wall of the Belmond Hotel das Cataratas. Another adult sunning in the garden.
