Grey morph of Grey Goshawk, seen after dark with a spotlight. The bird was roosting high in a eucalyptus tree, and was.....somewhat disturbed by the light and our presence, but didn't fly off. We have searched the area several times since this sighting and not seen this species here again. Though it was hard to drag ourselves away from such a gorgeous bird, we stayed as short a time as possible to avoid disturbing him/her - in all it was about 5 minutes. Elevation: 61 m. Date added to IBC: June 23, 2016.
