観察結果の詳細

Being familiar with both White-chinned and Parkinson's Petrels, the size was the key ID factor, as this was a rather large seabird, not a medium-sized as Parkinson's is (with no overlap). On top of this, we didn't notice any black at the tip of the bill, though we neither saw the white chin, which is usual with White-chinned Petrel observations. We were a group of 14 seabirders, including several very experienced ones (not me!).
