A Relict Raven in a dead tree before flying away, responding to my tape by calling in flight (to dubbelcheck its ID). Endemic to SE Australia, widespread in Tasmania but patchily distributed in two disjunct populations on the mainland. The northern subspecies depicted here, called Relict Raven, is a good candidate for a split. Elevation: 818 m. Date added to IBC: June 23, 2016.
