Heard gnatcatchers, verdins and mockingbirds making a lot of noise and as I approached a small owl flew out of a group of trees and about 100' to other side of wash where he continued to fly back and forth between 2 mesquite trees chasing the other birds around. When he rested, I moved in and took a photo.
