walked to about 0.4 mile west of Bradford Hill Lane and first thought a phoebe sitting on the highest snag in a few trees above the open shrubby floodplain (north of creek about 0.2 mile from Bradford), but think it looks more like an olive-sided (now that I'm home with computer) without showing white tufts behind wings or particularly strong "vests" - perhaps a worn plumage (?). No vocalization or tail pumping during 4-5 minutes of observation, and it had some yellow to the base of the wide lower mandible; no apparent wing bars, white undertail coverts, longish wings extending about mid-way down the length of the tail. Did see an eastern wood-peewee within a few minutes of this observation and it was much smaller and more narrow, with a very small bill; and wing bars (but not particularly strong). Appreciate any ID comments at dmcooper2@juno.com
