Via kayak. Three continuing birds roosting in trees at north end of the lake, flew and circled over New Hope Creek. Soon there were six individuals circling overhead, all together in the same view. Four of them soared high on a thermal and headed west out of sight, the other two settled back into the trees. All well seen in flight, long thin necks and spatulate tails.
