The adults continue to bring food to 2 babies in the yard as well as to the nest. One baby was already strong enough to fly up to the raised bed along the back, stone wall. It is approximately 3 feet from the ground. In addition to lizards and insects, an adult brought a spotted ground squirrel. After no success with either baby in the yard being able to swallow it, the adult took the squirrel to the nest.
