観察結果の詳細
continuing bird first found by Alex Jones the day before, probably an immature female; first spotted around 8:30 by Phil Brown, then we had views that allowed it to be identified, but mostly fairly distant, and in difficult light (against a foggy sky, etc.), but we were able to note the plain gray upperparts, contrasting yellow throat, breast and belly, white eye ring, indistinct necklace of streaks across the breast, white undertail coverts, dark tail with no tail spots; behavior active, and rather similar to Wilson's, holding the fairly long tail up and flicking it around as it foraged At the end of the field trip, several of us returned and had much better close views in good light; it was also calling regularly then, a "tok" that sounded close to Lincoln's Sparrow; photos obtained by several in the group
