These recordings are of a group of Thryothorus euophrys near a nest. First 2 birds approached the nest, both carrying food and chattering. At least one would also break into song periodically. The chattering and foraging and hopping about near the nest continued for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile two more birds came by, hopping about in the background, and did not appear to carry food. Group of 4 was near nest for five minutes. Then the group seemed to dwindle to two, and the birds were less vocal while foraging. But when a bird with food got close to the nest, it would make a trill/chatter. Finally, after a half hour, a bird with food went to the nest, which was above the trail. The nest (which for this species was still undescribed at the time of archiving) was a globular ball made of Chusquea with an entrance on the side, placed in Chusquea branches. Not all of the audio associated with the above behavior was recorded. Other Behaviors: Care For Young, Establish Parent Young Contact, Social Context: Family. Habitat: Cloudforest, Montane Grassland.
