Recorded with a mid-side stereo microphone pair mounted on a small platform covered with camouflage mesh cloth and floated in the pond with a long cable run between the float and audio recorder. This was a single Ring-necked Duck. Not seen clearly enough through the undergrowth to determine sex with 100% certainly. Other Behaviors: Depart, Take Flight. Habitat: Deciduous Forest, Pond. Equipment Notes: MS stereo original was decoded via SoundBlade when archived.
