観察結果の詳細
Including 1 *beyond property boundary*. At 1130-1134, saw 2 putative TUVU distant over the foothills of the Scratchgravels, circling and soaring. Dark, small-headed raptors with strong dihedral. Then at 1138, I saw 1 circlign over reach 3/4, N of the stream, downstream of me. Confirmed it was a TUVU and not GOEA - small pointy head, wobbly flight. At 1212, a single adult TUVU seen circling ca 5x shrub height over the rocky draw area, mostly soaring but saw 1 series of flaps. By 1215 it had gained altitude to ca 10x or more shrub height with no more flaps. Then at 1216 it glided off to the W into the distance, where it was still visible at 1217. At 1229, (the same?) adult TUVU was again circling over the rocky draw area, ca 5x shrub height, then drifting upstream and gaining altitude (photos). Then at 1234 it was back overhead, gliding E without flapping. At 1439, I saw 1 TUVU gliding, N of reach 4. At 1457, I saw 3 TUVU at once from reach 4, 1 to the N and 2 distant SW.
