NOTES: recorded in vine tangles and dense vegetation of a 50m wide stream bed through primary sub-montane rainforest; The bird was about 1.5-2.5m up making its way through and around a vine tangle. Both these calls are in response to playback. Although the bird seemed to appear very quickly after the first playback, it waited 1-2 minutes after approaching before it began vocalizing. These two cuts capture two different types of calls given by the same bird. HPF@200Hz. Habitat: Forest, Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Creek.
