partial flock rising from the pond vegetation

Two flocks. One flock of 51 was in the trees beyond the ponds and took flight to the north east as we drove up. I counted the flock from the truck as the flock flew past a landmark tree. The second flock of 41 was feeding in the pond vegetation. I took a count of this flock on the ground before it took flight. The total # birds was amazing. These were all Little Egrets with "golden slippers.". Milang Eberdong saw the same flocks. The likely scenario is that the flock in the trees was passing through while the other was the usual flock that hangs out at the sewer ponds.
