Photos and description to be added later. Prelim research into the ID of baueri versus lapponica (and menzbieri etc?) so far has revealed much more overlap than expected (i.e. baueri with rather white rumps/backs and lapponica with rather barred underwings). This ID does not appear to be straightforward at first glance. Perhaps age and sex are factors that will help. More research needed. May not be confidently identifiable to form?
