Reportedly unusual for this time of the year. Hunting in tidal stream on the western side of Fish Docks Rd. Alongside tricolored heron. The two birds were similar size. Black beak, feet unseen as it waded. Long plumes draped down neck to breast. Photos attached were taken with phone through binoculars, so I apologize for the poor quality.
