#200 for Stevens County! I walked the aspen grove road and stood near a tree with a nest hole, but no WHWO. Drove back into the main road and heard a woodpecker. Pulled over, jumped out, and there she was! Low on a pine tree right near the road. She was constantly calling for a minute or so as she moved from tree to tree while we watched, then she flew off into the aspens and was quiet.
