Continuing with Bonaparte’s Gulls. Much smaller than BOGU with dark cap, no white leading edge to wing, thick black carpal bar and outer primaries. Big thanks to Gary S. for first identifying this rarity. Thanks to Tim H. for setting up the trips and thanks to our boat captain Karen for getting us to the birds. Adam K. was first on the boat to spot this little gem.
