Phenomenal views of a completely unconcerned adult and youngster. The parent often made soft, gruff calls to reassure the youngster it was nearby; the latter still mostly covered with down but with "true" feathers coming through extensively above and well-grown wjng and tail feathers. The juv was watched holding a stick in its impressive talons, "chewing" at it - bill sharpening perhaps?
