Seen from the north end of SE Marine Science Drive. The owl was sitting on a grassy bank of a small jetty road to the east of the Marine Sci Dr end, seen by looking across water. The owl was fairly motionless as I looked at it, just slightly rotating it's head to reveal that, yes, it has 2 eyes. Large, quite white owl, not heavily barred. Seen with many birders today.
