At our jelly feeder. First sighting of the season, but fourth winter in a row at this location. Same bird? Arrived about a week-and-a-half later than in the previous two years. Deep yellow-orange breast, flanks, and undertail coverts; sharply-pointed gray beak; orange forehead fading into olive gray crown and mantle flecked with black; gray-brown cheek patch with darker mustachial stripe and arc behind the cheek; white wingbars; black primaries and secondaries edged with white; dark gray legs and feet. Additional sightings at 9:19 a.m. and 11:51 a.m. Photos included from 9:19 sighting. It will be interesting to see if this bird spends the winter here again this year.
