White body; long straight neck; black face without yellow spot below eye; round large back; light grey seems to overlay head and neck and continuing over body; straight line from top of round head to top of bill; no indention but upper bill is brick red very visual after submerging neck to forage; very graceful and does not seem disturbed at our presence; legs dark brown/orange in color; the eye seems to be contained in the black face, not apart as in the tundra swan; first sighted 12/6/25 by Jon Becknell on the same pond
