After I passed twice by the poplar where the warbler usually stays, I turned back and heard it calling (singing) from the crown. It had a loud, clear voice like a song, not chirps. I watched it through binoculars for a short time. It flew away when a person walked by, landing in a smaller bush nearby. Although I spent about 10-15 minutes at the spot after that (taking photos of habitat), it did not sing again.
