Not sure what to make of this bird. There was another really similar looking AHGU here too, but the primaries are so pale it made me look at it for a while.

Confident again with the help of Noah Arthur here. I was pretty set on this bird being Nelson's (as noted in my larus sp. comment), just needed confirmation. Very light-colored herring-type gull with pale-edged pale primaries, pale tertials, pale eye with slight smudging around it, longer bicolored bill with string demarcation of the black tip.
