unexpected! At corner of Talbot/LDCreek. 2 inches fresh snow in fields, these birds were at cut bank, in road and bathing in puddle. Then flew out and circled - went down out in snowy field at wheel line, many perching on irrigation lines. At least this many - conservative count by 10's as they crossed over in front of us.
