A diminutive goose seemingly 1/3 the body mass of the Canada Geese it was with. The chest was pale, or about the same color as a Canada, and not as dark as B.h. minima. I could see a narrow white neck ring that widened in front when the bird was facing me. The bill looked a big large for minima as well. Distant digiscoped pics.
