Our banded female perched in the big hickory near the pond. She stood up when a harassing Blue Jay flew at her and this allowed me to see the band on her R leg. Female because we saw her copulating this spring. This bird has been documented in the arboretum for at least 6 years now. Band # 877-78 per photos. Submitted to USGS in late summer. No report yet.
