**rare. One in a flock of 17 Canada Geese flying over the park, heading towards Governors Island. Seen from the end of Pier 6. Obviously tiny goose with an apparently short neck and small head. Photographs of it flying away confirm very slight body in comparison to Canadas, and show what appears to be a somewhat blocky head, short bill, and subtly different-than-Canadas cheek patch shape. Poor photos.
