Single male loosely associating with Hooded Mergansers. Bright white belly immediately stuck out among the Mergansers at first glance. Slightly smaller size, white patch on back of head, not folding down or bordered by black like male Hooded Merganser. Only slightly early. Digiscoped pics taken.
