Many native wildflowers, including several aster species, goldenrods, and mountainmint, as well as grasses, provide cover and food for birds along Sycamore Avenue. In the fall, these flowers and grasses provide seeds/grains- in the warmer months, many insects can be found among the plants, which help feed warblers and insectivores.
