stakeout. continuing. Interesting note: Egret was walking across field near us. Suddenly it thrust its beak into the grass and lifted what appeared to be a gopher type animal up. It dropped it and gave it some hard jabs several times. Then it lifted it up and swallowed it! Egret kills and eats a gopher!
