Number estimated from photos count. All the godwits initially were on a mud bank visible from the rocks 0.8 miles up the road from the marina. They all flew up but returned to the same mudbank several times. Then at 2PM about half hour after the high tide the flock moved to the usual jetty at the RV park near the marina
