Blue and gray round-headed jay with a smudgy blue band high on breast and streaked with white, white "eyebrow" and dark cheek under eye. Gray back. Silent, but easily seen (although partially screened by foliage from every angle at first) near the top of the acacia. It finally flew out into the open, perching on a power line. It seemed to have some sort of plumage irregularity (missing contour feathers?) on its back by its right wing, and over its right eye, as if from injury, although its movements/preening seemed normal and spry.
