Just before moon came up. Thought I head “kek” call in open redgums beside road, so played a call and the kekking came closer, circling overhead before going silent. Plop was heard a few seconds later in the grass nearby and there it was… made a few grunts and walked around before taking off again whirring back into the sky to continue its dispersal flight.
