I apologize for the late eBird record submission. This was a bird that was found incidentally by Hector Duran while enjoying some beach time and I got to see it because of his timely RBA report. The bird was floating around just past the waves. The wave activity was minimal allowing good views. Relatively small, all black plumage, long tubular all black bill. Some digiscoped photos obtained. The bird was just sighted for about an hour that day.
