Juvenile: faint, grey stripes on cheeks -- no ring on bill. Brown in colour. Quite small. Short beak -- grey in colour. Upon grooming, noticed that it did not have webbed feet, but rather three very large lobes -- green in colour. It alternated between diving for fish ( saw it come up with one) and resting on the water. There were lots of white, downy feathers on the water's surface. I noticed that it would occasionally eat a feather.
