Large Swift, about the size of the common swifts which flew around at the same time. Rump white and reaching around the side of the rump. Bird from below looked the same as the common swifts. Small pale chin patch, looked smaller than on the common swifts.

Known Long staying bird. Well seen Swift with white rump. Same size and overall shape as common swift in flight.
