Rarity continuing in San Diego county seen 7 nm west of Mission Bay.Even, medium gray 2nd alternate scapulars. Long dense head streaks. Frosty upper wing panel with thin shaft streaks on median coverts. Broad white tips on tertials. This same gull seems to have been present since Oct 2024 when it was first reported by Matt Sadowski in the salt works. Since that time it has been found at Otay Lakes and at J St in Chula Vista. It was also seen 14 miles west of Pt Loma on January 1st.
