In the prairie section that’s located between the main pavilion and the picnic area. I heard it peent several times and then heard it fly but couldn’t see it. I caught up to it a few minutes later and heard it peent several times and then saw and heard it fly. Flight sounds on recording begin around 37 seconds and are sometimes obscured by background noises. I heard a third round of peents but a plane came by and I couldn’t hear the bird while the plane was overhead. I heard it make one more series of peents after that but did not hear or see it fly. I could hear it the most clearly on the paved path between the pavilion and the prairie, but from where I could hear it best, it never flew from that area - only from the areas deeper inside that prairie section.
