#12 1554 BAEA Briefly thought it might be a Golden Eagle. Dark, wide terminal band on the tail. White on the underwing coverts ruled out Golden. Heading downriver over the Hudson River. The first looks showed an apparently long tail with a small head created by the angle of the eagle when I first spotted it south of the park. The images were taken when the eagle was heading north of the park.
